it's all wrapped up and ready to go! I hope the owner takes a good photo of him posing with it in it's new home. This piece is part of an ongoing series of riot scenes that I paint that are an expressionistic experiment in composition. They start very haphazard and chaotic and "out of control" so I'm not really sure what's happening, just painting lights and darks and shapes in a frenzy. It slowly becomes more clear what they are and what's happening and then strategic refinement "realizes" the riot.
